NMS signs up to UN Global Compact
NMS Infrastructure welcomed as a participant of the UN Global Compact
NMSI is proud to announce its acceptance as a participant of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), joining a network of over 15,000 companies and 4,000 non-business participants committed to building a sustainable future.
The UNGC is an initiative for companies that are committed to integrating 10 corporate responsibility principles in their business operations and strategies. The 10 principles cover the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
By adhering to these principles, NMSI will help advance the broader development goals of the UN, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals, in the countries where it has projects as well as throughout its supply chain.
Acknowledging this commitment, Matt Jordan, Managing Director, announced: “NMS is delighted to play its part in promoting the 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact. As part of our commitment to the UNGC, NMSI will produce an annual Communication on Progress, describing the efforts made to implement those principles".
