Overview

Healthcare is a critical component in the sustainable development of African economies. Access to healthcare services can reduce the prevalence of diseases, increase life expectancy, reduce poverty, improve maternal and child health and increase economic growth.

Focusing resources into healthcare is a high impact investment that has a multitude of benefits such as increased economic growth through the provision of accessible healthcare services that can lead to increased education, training and better job opportunities, reducing medical brain drain.

NMSI has pioneered the development of Regional/Metropolitan Hospitals, District Hospitals and rural Mini-Hospitals/Health Centres ranging from 20-beds to 150-beds across Africa; each fully equipped with advanced medical equipment, covering the healthcare spectrum.

Rural health centres provide the vital first step of care, in & outpatient facilities that support minor operations and full maternity care services. Able to be erected quickly, yet have similar design principles to larger healthcare facilities. They act as feeder units into District and Regional facilities, where more complex cases will be referred to.
