GHANA

Works on the project progressed well during 2022, with two of the three facilities at Fomena and Takoradi in the final stages of completion and due to be handed over in Q1 of 2023.

NMSI site teams redeployed to Fomena, Takoradi and Kumawu in March 2022, with construction works achieving almost 600,000 man hours in 2022.

With snagging and equipment installation taking place in Fomena and Takoradi over December 2022/January 2023 these sites are well on track for completion in Q1. A number of workers are transferring from Fomena and Takoradi to Kumawu to support the timely completion of Kumawu and providing job progression opportunities.
